Btoy (aka Andrea Michaelsson) is a Spanish artist who lives in Barcelona.

Technique: She studied photography and now combines pictures with painting. Her street art stencil often portrays the importance of women, particularly female icons from the 1950’s, depicted through powerful brushstrokes and very acute stencil lines.

Exposure: In 2008 she has been invited by Banksy in the Cans Festival in London and in 2012 by Amnesty International for a project against Death Penalty in Barcelona. Her work has been exhibited in galleries around the world: Los Angeles, London, Mexico, Barcelona, Brussels, Jakarta, Warsaw….
